The dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) ANSI A137.1/A326.3 test is primarily a wet test for level floors that are expected to get wet in use. The Sustainable Slip Resistance (SSR) test assesses both the DCOF of new flooring, as well as the slip risk after the flooring has been through a simulated wear which would be equal to approximately 12 to 24 months of use.
